Kimberly R. Jones Sneed / President and CEO

Kimberly R. Jones Sneed, a native of St. Louis, Mo., possesses over 35 years of professional experience in public relations, advertising, broadcast and print journalism, in addition to  digital communications.

She is the daughter of the late Bishop Samuel Lee Jones and Evangelist Beverly Ann Jones, who served as pastors of Grace Apostolic Faith Church in Pine Bluff, Ark for 23 years.  She currently serves as a minister at Pleasant View Ministries Church in Pine Bluff, Ark. where the pastor is Dr. William A. Shaw, Jr. 

Kim received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications in 1984 from Lindenwood College – now known as Lindenwood University – in St. Charles, Mo.  She received additional training in business management and technology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) and Southeast Arkansas College, both located in Pine Bluff.

Kim has been a radio personality at stations in Missouri, Illinois and Arkansas.  During her phenomenal career in radio, she interviewed numerous Gospel music artists including Grammy Award Winners Smokie Norful, Marvin Winans, Karen Clark Sheard and Grammy Award nominees Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Dorothy Norwood just to name a few.

A trailblazer in her community, she became the first African American director of marketing and communications for the Economic Development Alliance of Jefferson County in 1999.  She was also named the first African American communications manager for the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas.  While there, she coordinated marketing efforts to increase minority membership and implement culturally diverse programming.  Today, the center continues to enjoy increased minority membership.

She served as director of the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association, Inc. from July 2018 to March 2024.  She has also been a freelance writer for the Pine Bluff Commercial newspaper and several magazines. 

Kim is the president/CEO of Stuff In The Bluff, an advertising, marketing and promotions company.  She is also the founder/publisher of www.StuffintheBluff.com, a website that focuses on community news, cultural events and urban entertainment.  “Stuff in the Bluff,” as it is affectionately known as, won the 2009 Rhythm of Gospel Award in the category of Print, Press and Media of the Year. In addition, the site was a two-time nominee (in 2011 and 2014) for the Rhythm of Gospel Awards.

Kim and her company were featured in the February/March/April 2026 edition of URBANE Magazine.  February 1, 2026 marked the fifth anniversary of the Arkansas based publication. In a segment titled “Black Arkansas Media Worthy News,” Dianna D. Donahue-Holley — editor and publisher — honored the legacy of Black media outlets, platforms, and publications created and sustained in Arkansas.

Kim was recognized as a Living Legend in September 2023 during Arkansas Gospel Music Heritage Month for her work in the industry and for furthering awareness of the mainstream role Gospel music plays in the state of Arkansas.  She received a Citation from the Arkansas House of Representatives, which was signed by Representatives Vivian Flowers (who is now the mayor of Pine Bluff) and Kenneth B. Ferguson.

In August 2023, she was featured on the national “Be A Marketer Podcast” hosted by David Charest, director of Small Business Success at Constant Contact.  That same month, she was one of three individuals interviewed by Charest during a virtual customer panel that recognized and looked to learn more about their Constant Contact customers who are Black-owned Businesses and making a difference in their community.

Kim was one of 12 women honored by the City of Pine Bluff during its inaugural Women’s Hidden Figures Celebration in March 2023. The event celebrated extraordinary women whose impact has contributed to the well-being and success of the community. She was recognized for her work in the field of advertising, marketing and promotions.

Kim is the vice president of the southwest Arkansas region of the Arkansas Gospel Industry Network.

She is a member of the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technology, Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) Program Committee, which is part of the Pine Bluff Branch NAACP. 

For several years, she served as a member of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Planning Committee, which presents a variety of events in memory of Billie Jean “BJ” Jackson.  She is a founding member and former Communications Chair for the Pine Bluff Wellness and Health Equity Coalition. 

She has one beautiful daughter, Le’Annah Michelle Sneed, who received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from UAPB in December 2017.
